Unhappy Wimpy horn on '01 Ranger

Does anyone else find the horn on the newer Rangers a little wimpy? It has bothered me since getting the truck about a month ago. At first, I thought maybe one of them wasn't working. I pulled the wires off each horn, one at a time, to make sure they were both working. They indeed are, but don't make an "enthusiastic" HONK even working together.

Does anyone know of a more "robust" horn that's easy enough to replace the stock ones with. I'm not looking to make people crap themselves. Just something a little more attention grabbing.

I'm not sure about the 01 but the older ones are adjustable, they have a screw in the side with a lock nut.Just loosen the lock nut and turn the screw in or out for the desired sound.

I did notice a screw with some kind of "goop" on it. My guess is it's some kind of adjustment and the "goop" holds it set. Wasn't sure what it would do. I'll give it a try.

Would my 94 have this ajustable horn on it? I hate my horn, it sounds like one of those that would be on a little clown car in a circus, (beep beep).

Check the side of it and see if it has a screw sticking out of it.
