I have a 1986 Ford F250 (not a 4x4) that I am interested in having a mild restoration done to it. Paint, suspension, tires and wheels, transmission, motor, upholstery, etc. The truck is in good solid running condition but needs to be gone through and freshened up. Can anyone give me some recommendations on who might do work like this in the San Diego area?

Not gonna reccomend maaco yet, but the maaco by me took my truck and they are sanding the rust and putting a few parts on, and painting it. i'll get back to you with how it comes out, im hoping good! they will do most of the body work for you, so they say.

they said like 2 weeks, im in no hurry.. im registering it next summer. i still need to do some small stuff to it.
