Has any of the regular guys here gotten the Shop manuals on CD ROM?
I'd like to know what the Junior users (or newer) think of them.

 

I ordered one off of e-bay for my 1999 Mountaineer. Its not bad, there is a learning curve when it comes to using it on the computer. I can't say its great because I like having the book to flip back and forth in. It does contain many of the needed specs though and that helps.

 

They're not bad in a general sense, however they are lacking when it comes to specifics.

 

The one sold at www.motorhaven.com are the Ford original shop manual.

 

I have one on a CD for my van. I prefer the paper manuals, 'cause it's hard as heck to balance the computer on the fender.
