Arrow Hey 53-55 F-100 Question

Did your trucks have a 2 prong starter button? I know they used a different starter button and starter solenoid starting in '52. I want to know for my '51.

My starter button on the 54 has two leads. But I now use it as a horn button to make that big AHHUUUGA sound. John

I will have all the modern goodies but the button will be for starting it. If it’s ever stolen, at least I'll know a young ricer didn't do it. They could never figure out the 'key on-push button' technique.

Thanks Guys that's what I needed. I've been trying to find a solenoid that I can use the earlier starter button but no luck. I ordered my new button through napa.
