Question A couple questions to all Predator owners...

Hey All:

Got a couple of questions regarding the Predator Tuner...

1. Did your fuel economy increase @ the 65 hp setting and is there a definate performance increase?
2. Did the engine seem quieter @ idle?
3. Does the Predator allow you to account for tire size?

Thanks and any input is helpful!!!

Aaron

1. The fuel economy is 1-2 MPG better IF you can resist the urge to tromp it. The performance increase is huge, even in the 65 HP mode. I reported racing a Dodge Hemi on this forum and some say I was traveling 136 MPH in the 65HP mode. My gallery has a dyno sheet in the 100 HP mode.
2. Yes the engine is smoother and maybe slightly quieter at idle.
3. No way to change for tire size but your dealer can handle that.

@ 65 H.P. setting my city mileage probably went down. Total blame goes to the Predator...cause I can't keep my foot out of it. Even @ a standing stop...no hard pedal pressure I pop up to 3000 RPM...have to back off on purpose to keep from busting the tires loose. Dang Predator.

But seriously folks, between the programmer & EGR disconnect I have immediate response when eccelerating. Even when make a feeble attempt at light pedal pressure.

Monster Duty is starting off with a positive reputation.
Called the dealer and the biggest tire that they can adjust is a 285 .

If you're going bigger then you might try Superlift's TruSpeed .

1. It did when I got over the "Let's see what this thing can really do!" and there is a definite performance increase at the 65HP tune.
2. I think so. It is much smooter.
3. Yes, you can burn them right down till the're bald. I haven't changed my tire size.
