Unhappy RS9000 with air adjust leaks

4 wheel parts in Tacoma installed 4 shocks and the air system in May. The air adjust has been broke more than not and now the manager of the store is recommending that I pull the air and go back to the knobs. Anyone else having problems with this system?

I have the 9000 adjustables but have not done the air portion...
I want to, but just haven't had a chance to....
I LOVE the ride the shocks give me..

And I could see where it would be critical to make sure you have enough slack in the lines and "play" such that it wouldn't bind or get pinched....

Seems to me it'd be relatively simple to isolate a section of the system and pressurize it and watch for a pressure drop.... then do another section....

OR
just replace all the tubing - it sems like it was platic tubing I saw them put on on trucks TV that time they did it...

RE: leaks

I know that I can fix any tubing leaks, I used to have keep waveguides pressurized on A6's back when I could fit in a nose wheel well without using a shoehorn. I am more concerned with the shocks and fittings. The dealer mentioned something about Rancho coming out with a new product because of all the complaints. I hadn't heard any complaints and knew this was the right place (although probably not they right forum) to hear from the experts.

Thumbs down update

Just got off the phone with Rancho. The air adjust system will drop at least one setting a day if installed perfectly. They are sending me the parts to go back to the knobs.

Bummer !!!! and if I recall it wasn't a cheap system !!!

Glad I didn't bother with the system then ---
but it would have been cool to be able to adjust it on the fly based on road and load...
have to admit though... if installed right it's NOT that hard to reach over the front tire and turn the knob
and even easier to lay down behind rear tire to get ther rears....
but it's that DANG getting back up that's harder and harder !

Hmm - sounds like a business opportunity here
how about a mechanical push pull that did not depend on vacuum... just an electrical signal ????

Thanks, now I got somethin to play with this weekend
