What will a supercharger do for my truck. Will it improve my speed power etc. I guy I know has a chevey truck with a 350. He has a supercharger and other stuf done to it. He can blow away a mustang gt. Could my truck do that.
What engine (supercharger availability)... what transmission (how much of the power will you put down)... standard, extended or crew cab (how much do you weigh for spanking other vehicles)... many variables affect this. But basically a supercharger crams more air into your engine, allowing it to act like a larger engine, very fun. I have one on my non-ford vehicle and love it. The next question is positive displacement or centrifugal (centripetal in reality). They boost in different manners.

Reason: clarification
Modular motors respond very well to boost. A shift kit or high perf. valve bady will firm up the shifts and help the tranny run cooler with the added power. In the end, the tune will determine how long (or how short) your engine life will be.
