Introductions

Howdy all, thought I'd introduce myself since I've been hanging out here lately...
My name's Rob and I live in the Omaha suburbs. Just recently relocated from Helena, Montana. Big change, I know. But, natural beauty doesn't pay the bills and Omaha had a job I couldn't pass up. Let's see, I'm 37, got a wife and two little girls (help me, I'm out-numbered!).
My current Ford truck is a 1970 F250 4x4. It's the fourth old Ford I've owned and my first from the 67-72 era. It's fairly rust free since it spent most of it's life in Montana. It's got a 390 and 4spd manual, and is pretty much original except for the headers and after-market electronic ignition. No power steering or power brakes and it is a blast to drive. Drove it all the way to Omaha from Helena towing my Acura and it never missed a beat. I couldn't bear the pain of knowing the MPG, I just filled it up every 150 miles and kept going! Hope to get some pictures loaded to my gallery once I find the digital camera in the moving mess.
Planning to hook up with you all at the next gathering... By the way, I have no current affiliation with anything Cornhusker related (shhhhhh don't tell, if the neighborhood watch finds out, I'll be run outta town!) So fire away with the 'Husker jokes!

Hi, just registered today and am glad to have found this site. I may have the youngest truck here. Does that mean I don't have to buy?
Anyway, I'm Ron Rosewall, and I live in Marcus Iowa. I just purchased a '04 F350 CC diesel which we use to pull our home away from home.
And yes it looks like I'm the only one from NW Iowa too.

Yeah, well, growing up I had 3 OLDER sisters who didn't follow that rule, but sure backed off when I got old enough to do some damage!! My oldest sister was more tomboy than anything, and we'd wrestle around a lot. I got strong enough to do a leg sweep, dropped her backwards. I did it easy, so as not to hurt her, but it sure surpised her. She didn't want to wrestle with me any more. I keep hearing how she went back to college complaining I was getting too strong.

Looks like membership is definately doing well here in the chapter. Hope we can get the next meeting hammered out. With my work schedule...I'm not sure how I'll be - though all it takes is a week or two early notification.
