Am I getting this right that your saying that a manual tranny is 3% less efficient than auto tranny? Or did I read it wrong? I thought it was the other way around.

Tony, what he meant was 18 and 22 for the auto, and 15 and 19 for the stick

yes, he means deduct 3% from that 18% for 2wd or the 22% for 4wd.
