radius arm question

Ok, starting to gather parts for the infimus SAS. I want to get some extended radius arms, that are releaved for bigger tires like the james duff radius arms. The two things I don't like about the ones from james duff are the price, and well, the price. I'm going to do some wheelin, but not an awful lot. The only real thing I want them for is so that my tires don't rub like mad. Does anyone else make these? Also. If I buy the 9" for the 79- F150's, will it lift mine 11"? If It only lifted it 9, would I have to fab up some drop down brackets for the radius arms? Any imput is appreciated. Thanks guys,
~Kevin

I made my own extended arms. my tires just touch the arms a bit. nothing really bad. I got 39.5 Iroks with 3.5" bs on the rims.

hey I bought the ones from james duff they are not bad but yes they are pricey i have almost 20 inches of lift and i had to cut the drop bracketes and make them sit lower and they will make the front sit 2 to 3 inches higher

the arms are about 12'' longer than stock and yes they have the bend to clear the tires although it looks to me that anything over a 35 or 37 inch tire would still rub some . i can take pics just let me know from what angle or which part you would like to see.

mine were about 9-10 inches longer than stock. You can look at them here when I was putting in my 60.

they are boxed with 1/4" plate on both sides. the DOM is 2" x .25" I also welded some nuts on the end of the threads then proceeded to also weld thos nuts on the inside of the DOM. nothing like welding down a tube with a stick welder. Then I welded in some inserts for the Heims.

what ever nuts fit in the DOM and over the radius arm threads.

I have 39.5's with 3.5" back spacing on my rims and they barely touch the radius arms when turning. You need to get some rims that push the wheels out from the axle. Stock rims will rub with 32's

pics

Here are the pics of my radius arms with modifications to drop bracets. I needed to do this because of the amount of lift,(20inches). If you need other pics i would be glad to get more. https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...toid=63037&jpg
