Talking Plastic Gas Tank

I was just wondering if anyone has tried these plastic gas tanks. I was wondering how bad they might draw condensation. Or maybe how puncture prone they are compared to the metal ones.

Dodge has been using them on their trucks since 1994 with no apparent condensation problems. A quality plastic tank reputedly resists punctures and deformation damage better than the steel ones. And of course they never rust.

I replaced the metal one in my '86 with a plastic one, and it is one tough tank. Don't think because it's plastic that it's flimsy. The only difference is that the plastic tank doesn't use the locking ring to hold the pickup/sending unit assembly in place. It uses a ring that has metal tabs with sheet metal screws to hold the ring in place. Sounds weird, but mine's been in for over a year, with no leaks.
