'96 interior in an '84

Pretty soon i will begin a swap of the whole interior including dash assembly of an 1996 XL into my 1984 XL ford... daunting, yes.. but i think the results will be well worth it, the only thing that i worry about is that the swap of the dash assemblies, if any of you have any adbvice on how to do this... please any or all help is appreciated.

I am looking at doing the same thing for my 81 f100. I am assuming that you have already performed the swap, and I want to know how easy it was. I am looking at putting the interior from an 89 or so f150 or 250 into my 81 f100, would this work? I am looking at the dash, seat, carpet, and door panels. any info you or anyone else has would be nice.
Thanks.

hey bud i wish i already performed that swap, but take a look into my gallery to find out what happened to that truck........ the dash would be the hard part in that conversion though, (everything else should just bolt right in) the in dash wiring harness might not connect to your motor wiring harness, (yours is carb 89 is FI) however if you get one out of the ssame model with the same options it may go together fairly easy, keep us posted!
