99 F-250 Auto Transmission Problem - Please help

'99 F-250 CrewCab 7.3L Powerstroke with 51K miles will not shift to 2nd gear. This started after towing a 4800lb camper approx 50 miles. Shifting does work sometimes, but when it does not shift it revs to appox 3K rpms and you have to let off the gas to make it shift (i believe it is skipping 2nd and shifting to 3rd).

I've been told a new tranny is needed after initial scoping. Also I have been told that a new solenoid or valve assmebly may fix the problem.

DTC readings were when not shifting to 2nd were: 1211, 0733.
DTC reading a second, and third time were: 0603.

Can anybody tell me if they believe the exisiting tranny is repairable(solenoid, etc), or if I am looking at a new/rebuilt tranny to fix the problem.

All help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Might be worth your time to pull the pan and the accumulator assembly (just like installing the Sonnax/Tricumulator springs, follow thier directions) and make sure the accumulator valve is not stuck and the shift springs all look good. Should only take an hour or two and may be the problem.
