Exclamation 1998 f150 hitch wiring

I have a 1998 f 150 with factory wiring for the trailer hitch. It has stopped working. does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for this? The fuses are fine.

It should be in a Haynes manual.
What part stopped working?

Did you try all the fuses for the trailer light system. There are two mini fuses under the hood that work with the trialer light system. Check this out https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=255332 There is good info to check out before you break out the good old wiring diagrams.

The only part that still works is the running lights. We've lost the rest.

We have tested all the fuses and just for good measure replaced them (both under the hood). The switch stopped working except for the running lights. They were working fine one time and then gone the next. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hey LXMAN1,
I tried the link you provided and typed in the haynes manual. It came up with nothing for the search. I appologize but I am new at this. Could there be another name for the manual. Thanks for your help! I love my Ford but at this moment we have a love hate relationship.

Hope to be back in love soon with your help.
Thanks,
Carolyn
