Bull Session

Just recently got a '79 F150. It needs some engine work, but the body looks great and it has a nice, fresh paint job. The day after I bought it, my wife parks up next to the truck, opens the door and puts a beautiful door ding in it. So, it was moved out of the carport to the yard to keep this kind of thing from happening. But I got to thinking, I don't want the sun, elements, tree gunk, bird doo, etc. to ruin my paint job so I move it back under the carport. Today I come home, and I see that this time my 5-year old has put a nice scrape in the fender with his door. And then he comes out and proceeds to run his Hot Wheels down the side of it.

So, I guess me and my truck will just find a new home.

ahhh the beautys of family huh?? my brother bought a 1969 corvette stingray....all original 25k miles original from a collector, he got an extra hood and hard top for it.....he forgot that the vette was parked under the dart board and his 4 year old son liked to throw darts anytime he seen it.....well he chucked one and OOPS it went straight up and came straight down on the hood....and they are the metal ones that are pretty sharp...it chipped the paint off in like a lil circle 1/2" in diameter....he went to get his dart on the car and climbed it like a hill wearing his shoes...you know the ones with the sand stuck all to the bottom of them.....i seen this from 1/2 was across the garage and by the time i got there he was STANDING on the hood.....my brother almost got sick when he seen the scuffs and ding in the paint....needless to say one side of the garage got a partition that only he had the remote and key to

Teach the children AND the wife respect for other people's property even though they are part of the family. There are too many people in the world that do just like they did and think nothing of it. Someone ran into my son's car in our driveway last week and just drove off...

I watched a man pull into the parking lot at Kragen's the other day driving a new-ish Jeep Cherokee, misjudge the parking space, and clip the rear corner of a Bullitt Mustang parked there. He went inside the store, came right back out again, got in his Jeep and drove off. I wasn't in position to get his plate number, but I'd sure have liked to get the S.O.B. He couldn't have been in the store long enough to even ask who's car it was, I think he just chickened out and left. People basically suck. -TD
