I bought the bracket that is supposed to mount the rear license plate beneath the lefthand rear taillight. Unfortunately, it can't go there -- at least, not on my '59 -- because the taillight is so close to the box that it doesn't leave room for the license plate bracket. The license bracket hits the box before it aligns with the mounting holes on the taillight housing. Does anyone know where and how the rear plate is supposed to attach on a '59 short step?
