Transfer case - rubber mounts /bushings ?
I have a 1976 F-250 4X4. 429 - NP435 - NP205
The transfer case rubber mounts are worn out and I am getting alot of movement up where the bushings are. I do have a TC brace going down to the bottom of the transfer case, which almost seems to exaggerate the movement at the top where the bushings are.
My local 4 wheel drive shop says that the bushings are no longer available.
Does anyone have any good ideas on how to remedy the situation ?
I thought it might be good to get a few ideas from the people on this board before I dropped the the transfer case and tried to figure it out for myself.
