car seat in supercab?

can a person squeeze a car seat in the supercab or does one really need the cc? the sc is easier to maneuver in the barn lot so it would serve my purposes easier, but if I need the cc in order to get to drive it home to see the family with the kids that is what i will have to do.

thanks

From what I saw, I didn't think the SC was big enough for more than 1 adult. I'm a big guy 6ft 240 lbs, and I know I didn't like it back there. So I got the CC. If you have only kids riding back there, then coo, but when they get bigger, or your friends wanna ride along you have a hard time.

Forward facing car seats should be fine (they work in mine), but I doubt you could get a rear-facing seat in the back.

Get a Crew Cab, the extra space is worth it, my short bed CC is only 2' longer than my old F150 std cab long bed. Went on vacation couple weeks ago and my two kids had the whole backseat to sleep and play in (even setup a playstation2 back there for them) couldn't imagine doing that in a supercab. Just my 2¢

I have no problem fitting my girlfriend her 4 kids and me into the super cab (not all of us in the back, ya know what i mean) . The youngest sits in a booster seat in the middle back. Prolly in a couple years I will need a CC, but I want one anyways.

I had the baby seet behind my wife - that seemed to work. My suggestion is to take the fam to the dealership and let them run around and drive the sales people crazy. They may strike a great deal just to get you out of there.

I had the rear facing seat when my son was an infant, and now the forward facing car seat now in the back. Not a problem as long as it is in the middle (SC with Captains chairs). We have another one on the way, and the plan is the rear facing in the middle again, and move my son (18 months forward facing) behind the passangers seat. We will have to move it up a little, but it should be fine.

Thanks everyone. We have the wife's car to use to haul other people around, but whatever I get needs to have enough room for a car seat in the back. I wish that the KR CC did not cost so much $$$$$$.

car seats, both fwd and rear facing fit fine in the middle seat if you have captain chairs. But, as the kids get bigger, they will start to kick your seat, rather annoying. My next truck will be a crew cab.

F-250 CrewCab makes a huge difference. My 6'3" Son (15yrsold) has plenty of room if he sits behind the passenger seat. I tend to have the drivers seat back. GameCube with DVD LCD player and you never hear from him on a trip.

Last truck was a F-150 with extended cab. He didn't like that at all even on short trips.
