Hey guys,
My 2000 F2 4X4 makes a groaning sound from just about all four corners whenever the suspension travels at all. Someone told me the leaf spring isolators is a common cause.

How can I tell if they're bad by looking at them? How do I replace them? Any pics.?

My 99 had the same problem, ford has a fix but it only works for a while, replaced the nylon inserts twice. I finaly found new springs off an 03 and replaced the set works great 30,000 miles

After I made that post I did a search and found a lot of info. concerning how to inspect and replace the isolators.
