Cooling fan???

I was wandering if a 18" Nylon flex fan would be a good thing to do to my 78 in terms of power and gas milage and can it keep my 6 cool?

Is it overheating? I doubt you would see a difference in the 6's peformance other than it would be a lot quieter when the fan wasn't running. A electric fan would enhance the cooling system if overheating was a issue.

No just looking at getting better than 8mpg but it gets warm 3/4 way up gauge
will it help the 6 in terms of power>?

I don't think you would see a measurable improvement.
