Jeopardy guy...

If you guy's haven't seen or heard of this guy yet, turn your tv's to CBS right now and watch his interview.

Anyways, if you have no clue what I'm talking about, this guy, Ken Jenning's has been on Jeoporady for the last 29 days, and has won almost 1 million dollars! And he's still going! This guy is awesome, I watched him yesterday go through 3 columns of clues like nothing, not even giving the other two people a chance to ring in!

Has anybody else been watching him??

Stan

he is a machine! Amazing combination of knowledge and quick buzzer finger! I think is is crewing with trebek by continuously tying the one day record but no breaking it.

Reminds me of that guy that they did a show on that figured out the pattern on press your luck. he went on to just blow away the compitition also.

Ha! That's what I thought too, but on that interview today, he said that the reason he will not surpass that number is because he feels that the guy who was on a few months ago got cheated. He was the one who originally set that one day record ($52k I think), and he was the returning champ for five days, but at that time, you were only limited to 5 day's on the show, instead of unlimited (like it is now). So I guess it's his way of honoring that other guy.

I watched him for the first two weeks, then didn't watch for a bit, then I was really surprised when I watched again two weeks after that and he was still on. I think after he's done, they'll disect him and find out he's really a robot.

Did you watch the documentary on "game show network" about the press your luck scandal? it was really good. they re-show the 2 hours documentary once in a while. I give the guy credit for figuring it out.

I'd like to see that but we don't get GSN on our cable.

Heard that the Press Your Luck guy blew all his winnings in less than two years and afterwards became an assistant manager for a local Wall Mart.

Hope the Jeopardy guy has better financial sense.

I wonder if it isn't a big scam to get everyone to tune in and watch jeopardy. Just kidding.

Must be one smart cookie. Photographic memory or something.

I'm more impressed by how fast he is on the buzzer than how much he knows. They all know a lot of stuff (I'm not bad myself) but you really kill the competition when you ring in so fast they never have a chance.

I almost think that Mr. MENSA is mad, because he cannot be condescending to him. He just blew me away with how quickly he got to $10,000 in the last show. He is smart, because if he does not know (not very often) he dose not ring in. As of now I do not see anyone that can beat him, because he is so smart.

I was on vacation and saw it one night and was astonished. He does not drink and get all of the alcohol questions on every show.

Supposedly he's a member of a group that puts together trivia questions for a college somewhere, could be where he got all his information. That and the timing of the 'clicker', they have a rule that you can't ring in until Alex is done talking. He's just got the timing down exactly right, so nobody can touch him.

That being said, I'm not sure they did a good thing when they abolished the '5 wins' rule, after ken wins 50 times in a row it's going to get boring (IMHO). Besides, whoever's good enough to beat him will have to be even better than him (Duh), and so they're going to be even more unbeatable. I sense the end of the show coming, anybody else?

Later,
Rory
