O ring

i have some of them left. changed the high pressure oil pump 2 weeks ago and had them for the fuel filter supply lines. so that 1/4 line that runs down in the valley on the passenger side goes to the back of the head. is the fuel return line that you are talking about?

yes the 1/4 line going to the back of the head is a feed line...if the oring is leeking it will drain the bowl...make sure the valley is dry..if it isnt..there could be other spots for it to leek..

by the way...welcome to FTE..

I am new to this fourm, and I have been looking for an answer to a question that I have and did not seem to find the question or answer: I have a 1999 F350 Diesel 6 speed, 4x4, and the water in fuel lite came on, but I cannot find the bleed valve, or even the water-seperator, could some one please tell me where it is located?
tnx

first it is best to start a new thread, but the yellow handle on the back of the fuel bowl will drain the bowl just let the pump run some to refill it before you start the truck back.

Can't miss the oil filter. It's on the driver's side of the block, opposite the starter. The fuel filter/water separator is on top of the engine. Possible the previous owner has done a fuel bowl delete? The photo below is what you would see if you were standing at the passenger side fender next to the radio antennae and looking at your engine bay...

Nahhh, no one"s offended at all. That is unlikely here at FTE.

We hardly ever tell anyone to "use the search".

Kinda' nice going over the old memories!
