864x4stepside, its too bad you're so far away, I'm taking my old bumper to the dump tommorow.
Its slightly bent though (a newer Dodge Ext cab 4x4 plowed into me when I was parked, took out his front clip, only bent the bumper on the old ford Gotta love real bumpers...).

Mines in good shape and I'm lookin to get rid of it in a month or 2. I want to get a step bumper of some sort. But that wont be untill I work out a few bugs that are keeping me from getting my inspection sticker.

I'm just throwing a dual 2"x3" tube bumper on the back to match the front one. Nothing special, just learned how to weld this summer, but want something to attach D rings to, allow for using a jack-all, and to hide a receiver behind.

I myself will be using a nice set of chrome bumpers (perfect shape) off an early eighties ford van, i will be narrowing the rear bumper as well as sucking it up closer to bed to get rid of that nasty gap thats there.

Got any more pics on your progress page?

Looks like the truck is done now... I'd like to see some nice
pics of the finished truck!

Ha... finished... well...not quite

I got the truck painted... just as it hit -10C.... and snow was falling a week later. So... interior needs finishing, as well as my rear bumpers and bed supports for the box... But... now that it's hit 0 Celcius (figure yesterday was the last of the snow falls)... time to get back to 'er...

Here's the box right before it went on the truck... sans tailgate, new stainless chains and rear fender flares:

And here is the partially finished, thrown back together for plowing... not quite done yet... photo.... (with a 700lb plow on dropping the front a bit). The new aussie locker in the front was the best add-on so far... but my god can one get into trouble quickly with big lugged tires and the front end locked up

Nice looking bed! Looks a little like mine, how the inside is black. Good job! I wish when I did mine I got stainless steel strips rather than the painted metal. I'm still looking for a new bumper for the back of my stepside. Trying to get a new original one, but it's really hard finding one. I'd like to have a step bumper, but it's hard finding one that fits a flareside/stepside.

the step bumpers are just a narrowed stock fullsize, if you mig weld it would'nt be to hard to cut and reweld the ends back on, on a fullsize bumper.

I just wanna stay away from welding altogether, or making any modifications at all.
