lift parts for sas

can i use a lift for 70's gmc and chevys with my straight axle from a 77 ford f-150? Genuine suspension makes a 12 inch that I think I want to go with. Also, does anyone know any lifts that are around 14 or 16 inches? I don't really feel like dealing with the hassle of custom assembling all the parts etc.

why so high. you will run into many issues going in this direction. what size tires are you looken to run? what is this vehicle going to be used for?

the ideal d44 is from 78-79 . if you use the right stuff about 8-9 inches of lift can be had there.

Or you can get a Dana 60 from and old F250. Fab springs mounts and track bar mount and your good to go.

I did a sas on my 94F1504x4 a few years ago, and I posted my parts list in the offroad and 4x4 forum. Do a "SAS" search, and its somewhere in Jimmydean's post. Good luck.
