Mud Boggs?

How bout it, are there any mud boggs in montana from now till the first weekend in september? Me and my dad have put together an 81 3/4 ton with 36" militarty hummer tires, a 400 and a BW T-18 and NP 205 and we are lookin for some events. So far we are going to Thunder in the Valley in Crowsnest Past Alberta and one on the augest long weekend in Milk River Alberta and we thought we would find some more cause building a truck for just 2 events is kinda pointless.

We have mud bogs at several locations and dates in NW Montana and across the mountains in the northeast parts of the state. I'll look around tomorrow and see if I can get you any info. I see mudders getting hauled around fairly often.

In the spring, a local group gets together up on Lake Koocanusa..when the reservoir is drawn down. Up near Eureka/ Rexford there are some heckacious sand races and hill climbs. Not too sure about the mud but everyone takes whatever they have. I hear its a ball.

no pics yet, will have some on monday from the mud bog that we are going to, although we have yet (as of tonight) to put in the rebuilt driveshafts, shifters, o-ring in the power steering hose, shifters, seat, drivers door and hood(maybe not on those last 2), then i get to go and test it in some nice sticky, goey mudd.

For axles the rear is a limited slip 10.25 (the limited slip was a nice surprise from a 30$ truck from the wreckers) and the limited slip works really really good, then the front is the dana 50 TTB, but for some reason it has the 1/2 ton hubs, when everything else is the bigger dana50/60 parts.

A few years ago we did a mud bog in Bozeman. I think it was during their Fair though, and if I recall correctly it was Mid-September possibly even into October (if its the one i"m thinking of, they called it Septoberfest, actually). I think there is also a mud bog (but the activites center more on drags, the obstacle and baja) in Cascade somewhere around or on Labor Day... I'll have to ask my hubby.
