I have a 99 ranger 4x4 ,it misses realy bad when the motor gets in a pulling situation or heave load anybody know what can b causing this?

I don't know for sure what's causing it, but I have an idea on how to prevent your 10 year old truck engine missing really bad: don't pull with it or haul a heavy load.

What kind of engine do you have? A four cylinder? Manual Trans? or auto?

What have you tried already? Tune up?

the truck has a 4.0 auto ,it acts like the fuel system i changed the fuel filter but it didnt help.

It also has a code it says the left and right bank are running lean..

Check your fuel pressure, it might be the fuel filter in the tank that's getting clogged.

If you're getting codes, you need a tune up.
