Have a question, my ABS light just came on. Just finished replacing my front pads. I ran them for about 2 weeks once the wear indicator was making them squeak, still had some wear life on them. Well the ABS light kicked on and I figured it was because of the wear on the front pads so I replaced them. Well the new pads are in and the brakes are fine and dandy, but the ABS light is still on. Is there a way to pull a CODE from it or can you RESET it (maybe ABS computer)?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also maybe a link to a diagram showing me where the ABS computer or module is.
Try unhooking the battery for a half hour or so, hook it back up and then take it for a 20 min drive at varying speeds to reset the ECU. I had to do that to mine when I got my brakes done.
