IAC Info
’95 E-350 (motorhome), 60K, 460. Idles OK, but stalls upon releasing brakes. IAC checks OK following Wolfmeister's sticky on checking IAC, but . . .
1) Has infinity resistance between terminals and case and I couldn't tell from his article if that's good or bad.
2) Plunger in IAC moves freely and is in open position, disconnected. It does not move when connected with key on, but IAC not installed.
3) Local mechanic tested engine with older, Snap-on brand code reader (that's all I know about the equipment) and everything tested OK.
Would IAC problem show up in this test?
Can anyone tell me if IAC is probably good or bad from this info?
Thanks.
