power brakes

Just put power brakes from a 1979 F100 on my 1972 F100
Will I have to change the master cylinder to a 79 to
or are the master cylinders the same they look the same.

If they look the same inside and out I would try it.

I'm going to put a 77F100 steering columm in the 72 F100
with automatic and power steering. The truck had power steering
but stick shift we put a 302 with and automitic in last week.
Are The wireing color code the same on a 72 and 77 ?
