Where to buy a 460 shortblock...
I'm going to pick up my first short block, as a learning experience, and i always say the bigger the better.
So i'm going to get a 460 short block and over the course of a year or two hopefully have a finished 460 EFI to pop into my F-150.
So the question is, where is a good place to get a 460 shortblock in CT?

I'll have to look into that. hopefully they're still making the 460 blocks.
I'm not looking for anything labeled race though. It's going into a long bed pickup truck. I'm replacing the entire driveline with the engine, she'll be a towing beast.
I know, i know, just get a new truck. NO. I refuse. I like this one too much.

I purchased a 460 long block form Jasper Engines out of New Jersey, around $1500.00 about 4 years ago it went into my 88 450 super duty, one big complaint with the 460 is you can't keep exhaust mainfolds from leaking, engine runs way to hot. Headers could be an option I guess but have not gotten to it yet.
