Thanx. I read alot of those links. Some are pretty interesting. But in the real world, every situation is different. I already have established a decent off road kit (from getting stuck and saying i wish i had...) But i dont have a ****** block yet. Any ideas on where to get one. My parents wont let me order anything on here.

heh. They're afraid to order anything online, huh? Should be able to get one at a 4x4 shop or farm stores, etc.

I dont have anywhere to move the tow hooks to. I used the mounting holes to hold the winch on. I did a little test. I put the jack under the winch and jacked it up. It lifted the front of the truck off the ground and only flexed a little bit (as it should).

But yeah i already have the paint, just waiting for a sunny day to do it. Then put a FORD sticker on the front and call it good.
