Radio display working again !!

Thanks to all the advice and guidance from you guys in this thread I pulled the radio from my wife's Explorer and fixed the display problem. Carefully re-soldered the components as described and that was it..

She was so grateful she cooked dinner !

Thanks guys.

gotsolder at gmail dot com

My display board has been out for 2 years. I researched it and got frustrated. I was talking to my dad and he said his friend does that kinda stuff for fun.

gotsolder at gmail.com

He fixed mine really quickly. Costed me a six pack. I asked him if I could post on the forums and he said it was okay. I'm sure he'll charge a reasonable amount - he knows what the other guys are charging. He lives in southern NH. He showed me how and what he did. I couldn't do it, but sure was interesting. shoot him an email and I'm sure he'll fix your DC display board...
