Question 93 Aerostar 3.0 power steering stump

I had what looks like water in my power steering pump.I pumped new fluid through it without the hose then I reconnected it .I drove it down the road and back and now it looks like coffee.Any ideas on what would cause this problem and what I will have to replace to correct it?
