I am going to give the Quadzilla a try.

Has anybody heard any results from the other Predator by Dr. Performance.

Usually the products are roughly priced the same...with boxes they are all over the map on pricing...

According to the tech I talked to at Bullydog when I first started researching this months ago, they were making the chip FOR Quadzilla at the time. I wonder at this tho, because Quad has a speed delilmiter and Bullydog doesn't. It's been more than a year and all this stuff was for an 03 and very new. Another consideration is if your vehicle is still under warranty and what kind of codes will be left with boxes versus programmers--if that really matters--

I have the edge and i ran a 13.7 1/4 no muffler and filter out for the track. The truck is also a F350 4x4 CC Long bed.

The only bad thing i can say is the shifting. It takes a while for the trans to get used to the extra HP.

I have to admit as a new user and looking for the right product I got a lot of help from the welcoming committee here at FTE. I know how to make horse power in a naturally aspirated engine but I was like a school girl thinking about her first prom when I started researching all the choices and not knowing much about electronics.

My research came down to EDGE products and PREDATOR. I was looking for a plug and play with the abilities to clear codes. EDGE is the best product in fuel boxes, but listening to the elders in FTE brought to my attention other things I never thought about.

I have the PREDATOR and love it because it is simple and easy to use even for me. If a trip to the local Ford dealer is ahead, no problem, no wires, and easy to remove.

I'd love to get my hands on a Predator, but unfortunately they don't work with my current flash. The truck still has the June 03 flash in it and it runs like a champ! A little smoke on startup every now and again accompanied by obligatory rough idle, but after a few seconds, it all smooths out and runs great. PLUS, I still have my pilot injection! :woot! So no reason to get flashed.
Guess I'm (stuck, lol) with having to get a box. SO this thread is rockin' to me! All the more info to add to my research as to which box to get. Dyno sheets help the best though!

Haven't tried it yet. But Bob isn't on the Oct 03 reflash?? I might have to look into it then. Motorhaven has a return policy on that sort of stuff, don't they? Either that, or I could make up something to get my truck reflashed. Either way, guess it's time to call Motorhaven.......hmm.

Just a quick note, after I installed a new Banks Monster Exhaust from turbo-back, I would say do it!. The new down pipe on Banks in mandrel bent. After I took my factory down pipe off my 04, F250, Lariat, Fx4, I removed the heat shield covering from it. I could not believe what I saw. The pipe looked like a couple of monkeys bent it with sledge hammers. If you don't look at it, you probably won't believe it. With covering on it looks fine.
I've seen a lot of 4" ss exhaust that all look great for bends that cost a lot less than I paid for my Banks. Just installed a Juice with in-cab controller & cat "test" pipe. All works great.Just wanted to add my input.

I see on the superchip they say the high level gives 150 and the diablo gives 100 gain. From reading what you guys are seeing, it seems that one of the numbers may be wrong. Thought?
