'50's plates

I'm kind of new to Oklahoma so I was wondering if Oklahoma had specific truck plates in the '50s, specificly 1952. Or does anyone think that it really matters whether or not I use a tuck plate? Thanks!

Not really, but I was wanting to know if they had "truck" plates durring 1952. I was going to get a plate for the my '52 so I won't have to bolt one of those ugly (no offence) normal plates on it.
