Better start looking into a Saginaw pump and a new steering box.
Those are some big tires. Ford PS pumps don't like big tires.

already ahead of ya i have everything planed out just need to get the stuff and find the time to put it on. iam going to be swaping the whole steering out to the 78-79 style so i can avoid any steering problems down the road but thanks for the advice... from my experience so far ford p/s pumps dont like anykind of tires. people ask if thats my p/s whining and i throw in a little white lie and say "nope, its my blower" ....kyle

dave if i could find a way to sell all of my crap to buy your truck trust me i would but on the other hand it would only be a thing to look at st joe p.d. doesnt really like big illegal trucks but hey they have to catch me first right. but on the other hand it would probly get me in trouble in this town due to an ex-girlfriend there arent many people in this town that like me and it would probly end up doing the low gear crawl ontop of some other cars. ahh well if you would take trades, payments, and beer then we would have a deal buddy

Just found out 4 days ago from the Missouri Dot, I talked to a Officer Dawson. MY baby is not illegal. WHY? Cause it has a 9000lb GVW. Any thing over that there is no bumper hieght law. Crazy, uhh. I have dropped my price so much it hurts, but I want it gone.
