My best guess is sometime in August, but I'll let everyone know as soon as it's announced. Don't be surprised if one turns up in my driveway!

I just watched The Thunderbirds movie with my son. The police in London were driving the new Freestyle and new 500. The movie was apparently financed by Ford. It was like a big commercial. They even used the baja 4x4 prototype. Pretty funny.

Of course now that I am getting my new truck my wife wants a new rig (its a fever I swear) I showed her the limited photos I could find on the Freestyle and she likes it, anyone have any other links or information about these?

We just got pricing on these the other day. MSRP starts at $24945 for the base SE front-wheel-drive model, and goes to $30245 for a Limited AWD. If I add EVERY option avialable to that Limited AWD (DVD entertainment system, moonroof, reverse sensing, leather, safety package, homelink, rear heat and air, audiophile sound w/ 6-CD, power pedals) it would sticker for $34615 including freight, and have an invoice of approx. $31900.

And, no, there are no rebates, I don't know when there will be rebates, and I don't know how much they will be when they do have them (figured I may as well get that one out of the way right now....)

So...do you think they'll be rebates? If so, how much?

Oh wait...

Jeff thanks for your help. Did you receive the report similar to the ones you had on the F350s? If possible can you email to me at steve at howland dot org

I won't even ask about the rebates

Jeff, My wife's lease was up on our Nissan Quest and the freestyle was not looking promising for August delivery so we went for the freestar SEL w DVD and leather. It has all the goodies like my Lariat and it's perfect for us (3 kids). Still looking forward to seeing the freestyle up close. Thanks for the info.
P.S. We got $6500 cash back on the Freestar. Ford mailed us a $1000 cash back "special invitation". We are now ALL Ford: 3 Rangers ('03,'99,'98 - work) 2004 F-150, and The 2004 Freestar.
