1998 XLT Explorer Suspension

Does anyone know a shop in the San Francisco that would be able to beef up the suspension on my1998 xlt 4 door Ford Explorer. I am a TV news cameraperson and would like to raise the truck for more ground clearance. I am not an off roader but have occasion to use the truck on some pretty rough off road areas.

Thanks
Bill

Take a look in the yellow pages under Trucks. There will be several companys advertising that they specialize in suspensions. There is a company call 4Wheel Parts who has locations nationwide and might have one in SF.

You want more ground clearance, but this is really fairly hard to achieve. Most guys lift their bodies up, but the driveline remains relatively low.....taller tires will help a little.
