It's time to make room in my garage for my "new" 65 F100...i just want my space back and will take any reasonable offer as long as you come get it out of my garage...i pulled it, running, from a '71 F100...it is a new model 302 2bbl possibly from the early '80's...the truck ran and drove great but the frame had rotted and the truck literally broke in half...i have a cherry picker and would be glad to help load it....just reply to the thread or email me at "PDYhome at aol.com" thanks for lookin....

 

how many miles are onm the engine and what are u asking for it.. what kind of HP does it have and what would u need to do to put it in a 97 ranger

when i got the motor it had a little over 70K...I'd like to get $250 for it but the old addage "money talks" applies here...show me some green and you could probably take it...HP ratings I honestly don't know...as for putting it into a '97 Ranger i don't know how feasible that would be..this is a carburated motor and the standard equipment from a '97 ranger would be Fuel Injection...you would at the very least have to replace the sending unit on the gas tank to just send the fuel because right now you have an in the tank fuel pump/sending unit...it would also have to be a 2wd model and you would need to have a driveshaft made or shortened to fit the C4...and of course move the motor mounts...I have never done a swap into a ranger so I am only speculating as to what would be involved...one of the more senior members on the Ranger Board would probably be able to tell you what exactly is needed to complete the swap...sorry I couldn't be of more help!

 

Please someone just give me a couple cases of Blue Light and $50 and you can take this motor!!! I really just need the space back. Happy trucking!!
