1990 2.3l ranger gas tank

what size is the gas tank in my 1990 2.3l. what type of mileage do u guys get or expect. i just put my rebuilt engine back in an got about 300mi on one tank does that sound bout right or do i need to go look for some vacum leaks?

I would have to check my Haynes when I get home..... If it is the same as my 88' it will be 17 gallons (I just replaced mine a few months ago). I go 350-385 miles before I have to fill-up. It only lets me put 15-16 gallons in. There must be some left in the tank.

88' Ranger XLT Supercab, 2.3L, 4x2, 5sp
