Exclamation clutch cable broke help asap

i have a 93 f150 2wd and while i was driving i went to change gears and when i pushed down on the clutch i heard a loud pop/snap and the clutch has no pressure. i can pull the pedal up and down...is it just a cable or could it be something else. if it is just a cable is that cheap and is it hard to replace thanks. need help asap

Is the clutch master cylinder working. Check for a leak in the line. Check the linkage under the dash.
