Jef,

I posted another reply under another topic. Just to make sure you get it I'll post it again here. Transmission Exchange Company ( http://www.txchange.com
) sells cluster gears. I recently inquired about parts for the T86 and they do have them. The custor gear was $144. A rebuilt OD transmission was $816 + $200 core. It wasn't stated in the e-mail reply I received from them, but I assume that for the trans only. Not trans + OD.

If you're looking for a NOS Ford one, I looked them up and located one of each as you don't list which engine you have.

B7C 7113-A is for 223 engine Wesley Obs. Liberty, Ky. 1-8606--787-5293 Qty 2
B7TZ 7113-B is for 292 Greene Sales, Cinci, Oh. 1-800-543-4959 Qty 1

You can call them up and see if they still have them.

Hope this helps,
Barry

The T90 used in Jeeps is almost exactly identical to the T86. Almost all internal
parts interchange. As well as the top shifter and the case. If a Ford part vendor
does not have what you need, check with a Jeep vendor and use the T90 name
The only difference internally between the two is that the T90 has straight cut
first/reverse gears and the T86 are helically cut.

Wow. Awesome tip. I'll save this info.
