93 E350 abs and cruise control problem
I'm try to get abs and cruise control to work in my 93 e350 RV with the 7.5 motor. I have been reading other post for similar problems and with no avail. I have replaced the vehicle speed sensor in the rear pumpkin. and still after a short period of driving ABS light comes on. And I believe the ABS light is the problem of why my cruise control don't work. My main concern is the cruise control the RV doesn't handle well at higher speeds and I would like to just get to cruise to work. I have also replaced the brake pressure switch and still no Cruise.

I have also tried grounding the orange and black wire located on the right side behind the brace and no flash of ABS light I have also tried holding the on button to the cruise control and turning ignition on and no cruise light flash other than that don't even know where there cruise light would be located. I was trying to Flashlight at the dash and don't even see where the cruise light is

Does your horn work?? Not, bad clock spring.
Do your brake light work, all of them, no bulbs burned our??
Do your flasher work? Brake pedal switch is tied into the hazards and the turn signal switch. No brake switch, no cruse.
Did you check the pressure switch when you replace it for continuity?
It's set for NC with no brake pressure, Open when brakes are applied.

I know you said it worked.......but for how long?? Just try that, others have had the same problem with LED bulbs in these 25 year old vehicles.

Can't answer that one, maybe just get some cheap stock incandescent bulb lights to double check this problem.
Other's on this forum have had the same problem with the LED bulbs with the older vehicles.
Question:
Did you check the turn signals, do they blink fast on the dash indicators??
As in the same way they would if a bulb was burned out. This would be an clear sign that the LED's do not have the resistance as the standard bulbs.

Yes changed the whole assembly. And yes turn signals flash fast
I'm driving down the road in the middle of the day, I decide to use my cruise control, I turn it on and everything is hunky dory, I drive, drive, drive and eventually step on the brake and it shuts off the cruise control. Can you explain why a brake light out, or not having enough resistance, plays any part in my cruise control.......... especially if my lights aren't even on?
I'm busy today but I'm going to put two 1157 socket on it tomorrow and see if it fixes the problem. And I'm hoping your right so I can be done with this problem. I have also read that the brake light could be my abs problem. So maybe it will fix both
