Color-Keyed Honeycomb Grill?

Anyone given this a shot?
I was wondering what mine would look like in red.
If you have, post pics!

Any thoughts?

I had the chrome grille on my black '04 Explorer XLT Sport roughed up and painted glossy black at a body/paint shop (I had them leave the chrome outer edge). It looks really sharp - I'm waiting 30 days before I install it to give the paint a fightin' chance. Now, if I could figure out how to post pic's...............

Prepping is the hard part - lots of nooks and crannies to rough up before painting. If you find a body/paint shop willing to take the time, they can match the paint code on the door sticker.

Steve

PS - I took the grille off and left it with the shop for a week

Yeah I agree. It may look a little better in a lighter color, but me thinks i'll just stick with my billet grille
