Are there invisible bots that hold on the spindle? I've been trying to remove mine for the past couple of weeks. They won't budge on either side.

I don't own an official spindle puller but I've used various items to pull and still nothing. Pounding and heating does nothing.

No one ever remove a stuck spindle?

 

Spray the area just outside of where the bolts were with pb blaster or what ever you like, get about a foot long hard piece of 2x4, lay it on the end, where the threads are, bash it with the biggest hammer you can handle with one hand. One bash down, then one from the bottom up. You should see it start to separate, insert a flat screwdriver in the gap, then hit from the bottom, keep at it, it will come off. Then wire brush real good, and use anti seeze when putting it back on.

First try..no go. I'll try a bigger hammer next. Here is a picture. Second try after modifying procedure using a large pipe around spindle. Ta Da....it broke lose. Thanks!!
