oil temp gauge

I have a 1992 ford f-250 7.3L 4x4 A/T-
I just got a oil temp gauge and a trans gauge for it. I cant find where to screw the oil temp sending unit into the eng. Dose anyone know where it gos?Allso the trans gauge need to be cut in to the trans return line dose anyone know if its the top or the lower line on the
E-AOD

on your E4OD,if you look right in front of the MLPS on the left side of the trans you will see a 1/8 npt plug,thats wear i installed my sending unit.
not quit sure on the engine,but i would try to get it as close to the pan as possible.
