Chapter needs a leader
#2
Hey guys and gals,
As the moderator of the Colorado chapter forum, I am soliciting nominations for a Colorado chapter leader for the Colorado FTE Chapter.
Please nominate a Club FTE member (or someone willing to join Club FTE) to be the forum leader for the Colorado chapter in this thread:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=236732
Refer to the following link for details of the requirements:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/chapters.php
Here is an additional thread with more information about chapter leaders and Ken's plans for this:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=235977
I am the moderator of the Colorado chapter forum now only because I volunteered to moderate this forum late last year at the request of Eric (torque1st, FTE Forum Manager/Admin), whom I met through FTE a few years ago and I consider to be a friend. I also thought that volunteer moderating was a (very) small way to repay some of the vast debt of gratitude I owe to Ken Payne, FTE founder, for all the camaraderie I have found in other Ford truck owners, and all the knowledge I have gained from participating in FTE forums and, prior to that, on the FTE email lists.
Unfortunately, I am too busy with projects at work (unpaid overtime) and home (remodeling an older house we bought last fall) to offer to serve as the Colorado chapter leader. Since I started as a volunteer moderator, the demands of my personal life have increased significantly, and I am not able to expand my role in this regard now.
Once a Colorado chapter leader is selected, that person will assume my duties as a moderator in this forum, as well as taking on the various other challenges that lie ahead for a local FTE chapter leader.
Even though the activity on this chapter forum has been relatively slow, I hope that there are enough Club FTE members in Colorado to form an active chapter, with off-line (i.e., face-to-face) meetings, events, etc.
Thanks for your participation and continued support of FTE.
