Question Rear Taillight Replacement with Amber lens?

Does anyone make a replacement taillight assembly for a 250 that has a separate amber turn signal light. Not sure it is even possible since I would guess on a regular configuration, the turn signals and brake lights are the same.

Just curious.

Yes they do. In Austrailia! search over at www.ford-trucks.com Someone over there did. You have to redo the wires to seperate the brake/turn signals.

Take A look at Ford ausie site
http://www.ford.com.au/showroom/ligh...Super_Duty.asp
They look cool w/ amber turn signals. You can not have amber shining rearward as A clearence light, turn signal only. You will have to wire it that way.

Interesting...

Will have to check into the possible wiring changes. I suspect that it would need a different switching box though.

I really like amber turn signals in the back better than using the red for both brake and turns.

Anyone else notice how the Aussie Ford's don't have the 6.0. They still have the 7.3..

I noticed that also about the 7.3 too. Did you also notice that the only models they offer to the Aussie's are the XL and XLT. Also the front ends for both models look like the low end XL's here in the states and they have very limited options available .
