Don't do this. The B12 will eventually eat the organic material in the EGR valve diaphram.
You are not cleaning the "working" side of the system - wrong side...
If you could get the B12 past the EBR valve so that it flowed through the egr passages into the intake, you would likely reduce the probability of the EGR inlet ports clogging.
Doing what you have been doing is a waste of perfectly good B12.

Clean Your Egr Ports Inside Throttle Body....
carbon built up inside the port clog it up causing it to keep the check engine light on.... i just had this problem done on my 95 t bird 4.6 at the dealer .. im tryin to figure out how to do it myself on my 99 f-150 4.6 been there i got your answer...
