Several folks have put on the carbon fiber emblem overlays as found on ebay. Awhile back, I saw a college logo put on one by a user who made his own decal. That gave me the idea to contact the ebay sellers to see if they'd do a custom one for me. One guy said he could, but that I'd have to buy a lot of 10 sets. Sorry, but I only have one truck. Another guy never replied. And the third said he could do anything I could design ... no minimum buy. So, I had him make me up some "longhorn" decals for $20. We miscommunicated at first as I only received one big decal plus the steering wheel decal. I thought I would be receiving a "set" ... that being two big ones. The seller was very cool about it and quickly sent me the second big one at his expense.

Being a UT grad in Austin TX, this will look quite nice while driving around town. I'd seen one similiar on a late '90s model a couple of years ago. I nearly wrecked when I saw it. So, here's hoping someone nearly (but doesn't) wreck while checking out mine!

looks good, in australia we can get a large long horn sticker from "r.m williams" in many different colours. it is about a metre long and looks really good on the back of my f250 4x4 7.3ltr. i' ll try and post a picture of it on this site as soon as i can ( i want a set of those inlays now i have seen them)

FYI, if you're buying those stickers from someone and they're not CLC licensed it could lead to big trouble. I checked into it bc I was atleast one of the first to have a custome college logo on my truck, while the CLC thought it was a good idea they wouldn't grant a licenese for it becasue it would be covering another company logo.

I sent the decal seller an email about posting his info. I really need to hear back from him before I post anything else. I'll reply again by the end of the weekend.

 

Looks good. But I think it would look a little better if there was a 'Cubs' logo or a Notre Dame logo on there!
